Today was the day I realized that the future was now. I went on a class trip and got a tour of Google, Velocity, and Communitech. These places were so high tech that every where I turned there was something interesting to look at! The whole building was like an interactive jungle gym for adults which I think that anyone could agree, it would be pretty awesome to work there. These facilities get their employers enthusiastic and engaged with their work which is a big reason why these business's are rising to success. To come to work everyday with excitement will ensure that the job will get done. Velocity has opened their building for some very profound university students who have a high degree of enthusiasm in technology. They have an interest in creating their product and this program allows them to. I learned that communication, community, and desire creates a powerful business. If you were to do something you loved everyday, you would be indulged into your work since it amazes you so much. communication creates community and makes you excited to work. Meeting new people and working on projects together can finish a job faster and can help those who may be unsure of a certain situation. Each day something new is done which makes the worker pumped for their next job. Below is a slideshow of some workers working at velocity and communitech. You'll see the attire they wear as well. It's very laid back and not so formal. the workers can be comfortable..

V FOR VENDETTA
"V for Vendetta" stood out a lot to me about how the government can lie to the citizens in order to have no worries. In the movie, V, the anti hero has a plan to blow up Big Ben in order to get people to notice how corrupt the government is. The government find out about him when he breaks into a popular broadcast station and eventually kills one of the heads. The next day the news states that the man V murdered had a heart failure. The government were obviously behind this because they did not want the people to know V's side and they want the ultimate power. I feel as if governments all around the world do this, (maybe not that extreme.) the government wants to obtain as much power as possible in corrupt ways and in order for them to keep doing this they have to keep the citizens mouths shut. Power has a whole new meaning when it comes to government, Money. The way the government obtains money is with fear. They scare people into thinking they need certain things that can basically just give the government money and the citizens nothing or something they should already be getting in return. In this movie the government is majorly corrupt and it definitely scares me because what if our government is doing similar things to what this movies is?

The Blind Side
Micheal Oher has overcame so many obstacles throughout his life and because of these obstacles, he has become a very successful athlete. Micheal Oher demonstrates the high 5 principles very well in the 'Blind Side.'
HEART
In 'The Blind Side' The first high 5 principle is demonstrated which is heart. Leanne Tuohy finds Micheal wandering the streets on a cold windy rainy night and offers for him to come spend the night with her and her family. From that act of heart the Tuohy's gained a relationship with Micheal and eventually he becomes part of the family.
CHANGE
Micheal Oher goes through a series of changes both little in small. The biggest change in my eyes would have have to be Micheals change of lifestyle. Micheal went from poor, living in a very dangerous un well kept neighborhood to a richer suburban well kept neighborhood. Micheal did not understand how he was supposed to act when in this new neighborhood since he has always been used to such unhappy negative situations.
LEARNING
Micheal learns a lot throughout his life mostly about how to become successful. Micheal learns about football and soon discovers that he has a natural gift for defending. By learning this, Micheal as able to pursue football and now he is a professional football player for the Ravens.
JOURNEY
In order for Micheal to become a football player the first step was to join the schools team. In order to join the schools team, he had to have good grades. Sadly Micheal has never had a proper education so he kept his grades up by giving his all in school as well as getting one on one help from other teachers. Micheal also got a tutor who helped him really bring his grades up. This took quite some time, but his grades were crucial in order for him to become a football player.
ALLIES
Micheal gained many allies throughout his journey, including the coach for his schools football team. The coach had influenced the board office that Micheal had to go to his school. His intentions may have been selfish, but thanks to the coach, Michael was discovered by many different national football teams and soon was asked to join teams.

The Most Astounding Fact : My Reflection
The most astounding fact has always been an unanswerable question. Trying to come up with this answer is very difficult. After seeing this video I have to agree with this physicists statement. I do believe the most astounding fact is life and knowledge itself. The fact that the universe created humans makes my mind blown. We come from the stars, which can mean we are the universe. This shows that the universe is the building blocks of life, our foundation, shelter, and our host. Next the universe creates knowledge. Wondering and imagining the ways the universe came to be has made humans create extraordinary tools to help man kind find the answer. Shovels can dig up the past to space aircraft finding our futures. With the universe encouraging exploration humans have discovered the once unknown. Lastly everything involves the universe. From religion, karma, birth, and resurrection, it all takes place in this universe. Whether it's a belief or an actual activity, it happens in this universe. Humans can choose what to believe but in the end whatever it is, it will always get traced back to the universe. The universe is the setting for religion, and birth, and the graveyard for the dead. The universe means more than space and stars, it means life.
War Photographer
When watching 'War Photographer', I felt that James Nachtwey has an outstanding point that he feels the need to take photographs of global issues in order to make the citizens aware about what is going on in the world. Although James does not physically help them with their injuries or losses, he captures photos that hold deep emotion that can show people the terrible things that are happening. Theses photos are shown to the public to grab attention to the issue and hopefully raise awareness and help out. These photos are often very hard to view because they are so sad and disappointing. The photos are meant to have that affect on a person so that it leaves a deep impact to the viewer so they feel as if they need to help. I think this would be a very hard career to pursue, but in some ways very rewarding because in the end you are the person who is raising awareness about the hardships some countries face. Theses photographers also have the risk of being shot, wounded, or even killed. These photographers have a lot of courage and bravery to do this. I feel that they deserve a lot of credit for what they do because it is definitely not an easy job.

13 Reasons Why: Before I Read
'13 Reasons Why' was initially very intriguing to me and I found the synopsis very suspenseful and I wanted to start reading the book right away. I think this book will be very interactive because there is a website for the book to listen to Hannah's tapes. I can already imagine Hannah to be a real teen who committed suicide. The book is about a boy who finds a box of tapes made by a girl who recently commits suicide. These tapes contain her recorded voice saying the 13 reasons why she committed suicide. This book is supposed to deeply affect teens with emotions. I think this book will be very emotional and I think this can help teens in some way, to get them to rethink suicide and maybe relate to some depressed teens who have experienced one of the reasons Hannah describes.
